Bundesliga and J - League Welcome Erick Thohir as the New PSSI Chairman

JAKARTADAILY.ID — The election of Erick Thohir as General Chair of PSSI received positive appreciation from the world football community.

After the main president of the world soccer federation, FIFA, Gianni Infantino, uploaded his congratulations on Erick's election, now it is the turn of foreign league management to offer congratulations.

A number of the world's top leagues, including the Bundesliga (German Premier League), specifically expressed their appreciation for Erick's election to PSSI.

"To Pak Erick and all members of the executive committee, on behalf of the Bundesliga we congratulate and best wishes on your appointment at PSSI," said the official Bundesliga letter signed by Chief Marketing Officer, Peer Naubert.

Ready to cooperate

The Bundesliga is also ready to cooperate directly with PSSI as part of managing Indonesia's football potential.

The Bundesliga will involve top clubs like Bayern Munich, Dortmund, and other big clubs to work together to support the Indonesian soccer ball.

"We, together with the main clubs, are ready to strengthen the support of the Bundesliga in the era of your leadership at PSSI," wrote the Bundesliga.

Japanese League

The leaders of the Japanese League, the J League, also did not miss conveying their enthusiasm to work with PSSI after Erick's election.

The top leader of the J League, Yoshikazu Nonomura, congratulated and believed in the leadership of Erick and his team at PSSI.

"I'm sure Indonesian football will continue to develop and be successful with your strong leadership, and I look forward to working together to strengthen our football relationship between Indonesia and Japan in the future," he said.

Nonomura added, "I hope to support your success and I wish the best for the future (PSSI)," he wrote. (*)
