JAKARTADAILY.ID - Indonesian Minister of Communication and Information Johnny G. Plate conducted a surprise inspection of the construction site of the Indonesian National Data Center (PDN) in the Greenland International Industrial Center Deltamas area, Cikarang, Bekasi, West Java, Wednesday, January 4, 2023.
The National Data Center is one of the national strategic projects of President Joko Widodo, therefore Minister Johnny requested that the construction be carried out according to the plan and international standards.
"The success of this development will encourage electronic-based government infrastructure. This must be maintained," he said.

The Minister stated that it is now two months after the groundbreaking ceremony and his visit was to find out the progress of the PDN construction.
"Two months is equivalent to 8 percent of 24 months of planning. I want to see what has been done in two months. Is it still on the planned schedule," he said.
To ensure the work progresses well, Minister Johnny asked all parties involved to pay attention to the development progress.
The first PDN was built on an area of 14,022 square meters. The data center is the first pilot project for GBCI's Platinum-level Green Building which is internationally certified. In addition, the PDN will also have a Main level of Green Building Certification and TIA 942 Rated 4. The building construction process will begin in April 2023.
