JAKARTADAILY.ID – Three start-up teams, Cody Kit from the Bandung Institute of Technology, Taman School from the University of Indonesia, and Gepo Energy from Gadjah Mada University, managed to beat the other finalists in the Pertamuda Seed and Scale 2022 student business idea competition held by PT Pertamina Persero, Thursday, December 8, 2022.
The Top 3 previously competed through various stages in order to set aside as many as 2,445 start-up participants for Pertamuda Seed and Scale 2022 from 386 public and private universities in Indonesia.
In the final stage, the Top 3 competed in presentations with other finalists, namely Tirtanex and friends assisting from Brawijaya University, Goerami from the Bogor Agricultural Institute, GID from Padjadjaran University, Panoptes Insight from the Surabaya State Electronics Polytechnic, and Foodie Well from the University of Indonesia in front of the jury.
After being declared qualified as Top 3, the three teams had the opportunity to receive coaching funds totaling IDR 300 million submitted by Daniel S. Purba, SVP Strategy & Investment, SPPU Directorate representing PT Pertamina (Persero) Main Director, Nicke Widyawati on the awarding night.
Later it will not only be the Top 3 who will receive coaching funds. PT Pertamina (Persero) also handed over assistance funds to campuses or the best 3 companion business incubators worth IDR 25 million.
“Coaching fund is not the end goal of this competition. Regardless of winning or not, the struggle of the finalists in building the business up to this point has been validated. After determining the Top 3, the 2022 Pertamuda Seed and Scale series will close with mentoring for the top 10. They will receive mentoring strictly, one-on-one from the mentors appointed by PT Pertamina (Persero).
