Man from Madiun Arrested for Spreading Personal Data Hack by Bjorka in Telegram Group

JAKARTADAILY.ID – A young man with the initials MAH from Madiun, East Java was named a suspect in the Bjorka hacker case.

MAH was named a suspect for his involvement in helping the dissemination of personal data related to the hack by Bjorka hackers.

The Head of the Public Relations Division of the National Police, Inspector General Dedi Prasetyo, revealed that MAH acted as the admin of the Telegram messaging group application called Bjorkanism.

MHA spreading the personal data of a number of Indonesian officials on the Telegram using his cellphone.

"Yes, in such a mechanism (spreading data using cellphones)," said Dedi Prasetyo, quoted by pmjnews, Saturday, September 17, 2022.

Dedi has not provided further information regarding the determination of the suspect MAH. However, he said that MAH was not detained and was subject to a mandatory report.

"The suspect is required to report and cooperate with the information from the Timsus," added Dedi.

Previously, the Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and State Affairs Mahfud MD said that the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) and the National Police are in possession of the hacker known as Bjorka.

Regarding the identity of the Bjorka, Mahfud said that until now his identity has not been announced to the public.

"It is not possible to announce the descriptions of who and where. We already have the tools to track them all," continued Mahfud.
