As reported by Cyberthreat.id, a cybersecurity literacy portal, on Wednesday, September 14, 2022, a member of the data leak forum with the username ssPX offered up a database containing 102 million personal data of Indonesian people.
Cyberthreat.id reports a thread entitled "Indonesia Citizenship Database from the Ministry of Social Affairs Republic of Indonesia" which offers a database in PNG and JPG format and consists of 16 GB of compressed files and 85 GB of uncompressed files.
Members of the forum claim to have data from a total of 102,533,221 citizens.
ssPX did not mention the exact date when it managed to break into the Ministry of Social's website, however, claiming that the breach occurred in September 2022.
If this is true, then this will add to the long list of data leaks that have recently occurred in Indonesia.
