JAKARTADAILY.ID – The Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal, and State Affairs Mahfud MD said that the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) and the National Police are in possession of the hacker known as Bjorka.
The hacker or hacker group was responsible for several security breaches that leaked data from internet provider IndiHome and also recently doxxed (revealed private information such as addresses and phone numbers) of government officials, including Erick Thohir, Puan Maharani, and Luhut Pandjaitan.
In response, President Joko Widodo formed a special task force to identify and potentially arrest the so called Bjorka.
Additionally, Bjorka also claims to be in possession of data regarding President Jokowi, and information regarding the assassination of human rights activist Munir.
"We will take it seriously and have already started to deal with this problem. We are continuing to investigate because the descriptions of the perpetrators have been well identified by BIN and the National Police," said Mahfud MD at a press conference at the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal and Security Affairs, Jakarta, Wednesday, September 14, 2022.
Regarding the identity of the Bjorka, Mahfud said that until now his identity has not been announced to the public.
"It is not possible to announce the descriptions of who and where. We already have the tools to track them all," continued Mahfud.

Mahfud also asked the public to be calm because so far no state secrets have been leaked.
Previously, President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) had formed a special team related to a number of cyber attacks by a hacker named Bjorka.
The special team was formed after the government held a meeting at the Presidential Palace. The special team consists of the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN), Kominfo, Polri, and the State Intelligence Agency (BIN).
