"At the same time, we continue to try to communicate with PayPal managers, because until now, although we have tried to communicate in various ways, PayPal has not responded at all," said Semuel in a statement published by the Ministry of Communications on Monday, August 1, 2022.

Samuel said that Kominfo had also contacted the United States embassy in Jakarta, Indonesia, to assist with communication efforts with Paypal in order to respond to messages from Komnfo.
In addition, Kominfo also urges the public to transfer their assets from Paypal before August 5, 2022.
“We once again ask the public to be able to take advantage of the 5 working days given by the Ministry of Communication and Information for the public to be able to transfer their assets on Paypal to another platform.

The same thing happened to PSE Yahoo, Origin.com, and Epic Games which is also a company from the United States. Samuel said the Ministry of Communication and Informatics has also made various efforts to reach the three PSEs.
However, until now, the three of them have not responded to the communication from the Ministry of Communication and Informatics.
In this regard, the Ministry of Communication and Informatics also requested the assistance of the United States Embassy in Jakarta to facilitate communication with Yahoo based in Sunnyvale, Epicgame in North Carolina, and Origins in Redwood City.
"We also ask for the help of the United States embassy to communicate with the PSE considering the communication efforts made by Kominfo so far in various ways have not received any response at all," concluded Semuel.
