JAKARTADAILY.ID – For those who like to cook and dream of selling their homemade food around Jakarta and its greater cities, now there is a digital platform called Kokikan that will provide solutions to cater to these needs and serve people who like to order foods online.
Selling their own homemade food is a dream for those who like to cook. However, in reality, there are a lot of problems for them to start their own cooking business.
In a statement sent to JakartaDaily.id recently, Kokikan describes itself as an application for buying and selling homemade food from/to neighbors as a digital platform.
"Kokikan provides a solution for those who want to increase their income by selling their homemade food. They don’t have to be confused with promotions in selling, Cook can
also, expand their customers because they will get buyers from their neighbors who they
haven’t met," the platform said in the statement.
"Kokikan also provides solutions for users, for those who don't have time to cook, or are
tired of restaurant food and miss homemade food."
Kokikan said now the platform has covered the Jakarta area, and because of the high demand that can be seen from the Cook waiting list, Kokikan is starting to expand to areas around Jakarta, such as Tangerang.
How to be a Cook at Kokikan
To join as a Cook at Kokikan, the first step you have to do is download the Kokikan app on PlayStore or AppStore.
Then you need to fill in your name and mobile number. After that, to join as a cook, there are some data that you must prepare in the Cook verification form on the application:
- ID card photo
- Kitchen photo
- Personal data
After successfully verified, you can immediately start to sell your food on Kokikan and
deliver it to people around you.
Ordering system at Kokikan
For now, Kokikan has two ordering systems, eat now and pre-order. Eat now is a
a system where Users order food and it will be cooked immediately.
Meanwhile, the preorder system, As the name implies, Allows Users to order a few days before the delivery.
And for delivery, because Kokikan uses the neighborhood concept, Cooks can deliver
orders to customers themselves, considering that the Users and cooks live in the same
neighborhood.
