CMI Indonesia Partners with Tencent Cloud to Offer Cloud Technology Solutions to Indonesian Markets

JAKARTADAILY.ID – CMI Indonesia, the local arm of China Mobile International Limited, is partnering with Tencent Cloud, a cloud computing service provided by Tencent, the largest Internet company in China, to introduce Cloud Network Integration Solution for the Indonesian markets.

The product is said to offer solutions usually experienced by the local businesses that are transitioning into digital. In the last few years, many corporations, including those from Indonesia, have placed cloud technology into their digital transformation roadmaps.

Daniel Zhang, Managing Director of CMI Indonesia said as a provider of cloud solutions in Indonesian markets, CMI and Tencent are collaborating to offer the finest technology, at a competitive price, all of which are integrated.

He said the recent development of cloud technology, which has grown fast, needs the support of reliable connectivity.

CMI said it has cooperated with all cloud providers as well as Software as a Service (SaaS) providers to offer a one-stop-cloud solution to its customers.

David Chen, Senior Solution Manager at CMI Indonesia said CMI has extensive experience in networking to offer a selection of connectivity, including cloud connect, SDWAN, to application acceleration networks to get users connected to some cloud providers.

"CMI realizes these challenges, so we launch multi-cloud solutions, where we integrate the cloud dan network solutions under one-stop (services),” Chen added.

Paisan Areeprasertkul, Senior Solution Architect at Tencent Cloud said Tencent Cloud decided to cooperate with Indonesia China Mobile as it has capabilities to connect all Tencent's data centers via high-speed connections.

With helps from CMI, Tencent Cloud, he said will be able to improve its online customers' experience.

"Tencent Cloud has served business clients in Indonesia via two data centers, to boost our video streaming, eSports solutions as well as digital banking services," he said.

CMI said in the same statement that in a bid to align its cloud and network solution services, CMI is building a one-stop portal named mCloud.

In this portal, customers can make ordering, provisioning, monitor, and managing all the cloud services they subscribe to via one dashboard.
