JAKARTADAILY.ID - The National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN) launched the 2021 Security Monitoring Results Annual Report. The activity was titled "Together for Better Cyber Security."
Deputy Head of BSSN, Inspector General Luki Hermawan said, hopefully, this report is useful for the general public. In addition, he also hopes that the government will consider it when making policies.

"This report can be used as a reference for determining the government's strategic policies," said Luki when giving a speech, Wednesday, March 30.
Luki said that various aspects of people's lives continue to adapt to the new normal phase by involving information technology in carrying out online activities, which are familiar habits for the general public.
BSSN recorded more than 1.6 billion traffic anomalies entering Indonesia, with the highest traffic occurring in December 2021. The majority of the traffic identified was MyloBot malware activity.

BSSN also revealed that in 2021 there will be a ransomware attack targeting the aviation, banking, and BUMN sectors. The ransomware groups behind these attacks are Avaddon, Lockbit, and Conti Ransomware.
Luki said that apart from being addressed to the government, the report was also intended for the wider community. "Being signs for the community in their activities in cyberspace," he said.
