PLN ICON Plus Presents Same-Day Service to Accelerate Digital Transformation in Indonesia

JAKARTAADAILY.ID – Commemorating the 78th Independence of the Republic of Indonesia, PLN ICON Plus with ICONNET, held a series of events with the theme: Merdeka Internet with ICONNET simultaneously in a number of regions in Indonesia.

President Director of PLN ICON Plus, Ari Rahmat Indra Cahyadi, said that PLN ICON Plus with ICONNET services strives to be present in remote villages to accelerate digital transformation in Indonesia.

"PLN ICON Plus with ICONNET is committed to supporting government efforts in accelerating digital transformation. Through the spirit of Merdeka Internet with ICONNET, we present a special 1-day activation service for new customers who register at the event location," said Ari when attending with 2700 residents of Borobudur village, Magelang district who participated in the independence celebration with ICONNET on Sunday, August 27, 2023.

Ari revealed, that ICONNET registration is now easier with the integration of ICONNET products in the PLN Mobile application.

"ICONNET offers unlimited internet packages starting from Rp 100 thousand per month. In addition, the ICONNET network that uses full fiber optic supported by PLN's electricity infrastructure provides reliable internet quality," Ari added.

In addition, to further facilitate customer service, ICONNET also presents the MyICON + application. With this digital platform, PLN Icon Plus is committed to continuing to develop increasingly innovative services to increase customer satisfaction.

Meanwhile, the Head of Borobudur Village, Anwar Ujang Maryadi Lukman, expressed his appreciation for the presence of ICONNET in Borobudur village.

"Alhamdulillah, internet access in Borobudur village can be enjoyed by the community, including the presence of ICONNET," said Anwar.

The peak of the independence celebration with ICONNET was held simultaneously in 3 cities on Sunday, August 27, 2023. The event, which was attended by the Board of Directors of PLN ICON Plus, was held in Magelang at Borobudur Village), Sidoarjo at Candiloka Park, and Pekanbaru at Car Free Day Jl. Sudirman, Pekanbaru.

This event includes organizing the PLN ICONNET Mobile Legends Championship esports tournament, a healthy walk, joint gymnastics, leisure bikes, free health checks with door prizes such as electric motors and electric bicycles, and various attractive prizes worth tens of millions of rupiah.

Previously, since the beginning of August, the same activities have been carried out in a number of other cities, such as Makassar, Denpasar, Balikpapan, Palembang, Medan, Depok to Tasikmalaya.
