JAKARTADAILY.ID – The Samsung Galaxy S23 series is Samsung's latest flagship series that comes with all the bells and whistles expected from a flagship phone, but some reviewers are saying it's coming up short of its expectations.
A few Indonesian reviewers on YouTube are a little less enthused about Samsung's latest, saying that some models of the Galaxy S23 have lower capacity batteries, subpar fast charging, and even an inferior chipset.
Here are some of their gripes with the S23:

1. No Charger
Since 2021, Samsung decided to no longer provide chargers and earphones on their high-end models.
"Samsung smartphones come with a USB Type-C data cable, but they do not come with earphones or a charger plug in the box because we want to minimize the impact our products have on the environment," they write on their website.
"Samsung believes the removal of earphones and charger plugs from our in-box device packaging can help address the growing e-waste problem and unnecessary duplication of these items," it adds.
According to the Samsung website, the price for the Wall Charger for Super Fast Charging is around Rp 299,000 while the Galaxy Buds2 Pro is Rp 2,799,000.
So, you'll be needing to shell out extra cash to get the full set.
2. Battery Capacity
An Indonesian phone reviewer on his channel called Kedai Kopi, said that for a flagship phone, the S23 is kind of lacking.
"The flagship smartphone should offer a large enough battery capacity," said the reviewer, who has 54.4k subscribers on the channel.
"However, it is quite unfortunate that the Galaxy S23 Series is equipped with a small battery capacity," added the reviewer.
