JAKARTADAILY.ID - Banyuwangi Regent Ipuk Fiestiandani welcomed positively the presence of Pikiran Rakyat Media Network (PRMN) and Promedia, who are ready to help boosting Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in Banyuwangi.

PRMN is offering its commitment to helping the rise of MSMEs in the midst of the sluggish economy due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the last two years. By providing free promotions on the PRMN channels, it is hoped that the Banyuwangi MSME economy will rise more quickly.

This was stated by the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of PRMN, Agus Sulistriyono, in a meeting with Banyuwangi Regent Ipuk Fiestiandani at the Banyuwangi Regent's Office Lounge, Monday, February 21, 2022.

"Currently PRMN has more than 200 media in Indonesia, and currently more than 400 media are using technology from Promedia," said the man who was born in Banyuwangi.

With the many media networks owned by PRMN, the promotion of MSME results will be more efficient and effective.

On that occasion, Agus Sulistriyono also explained that the media business run by PRMN and Promedia is carrying the concept of 'gotong royong' (mutual cooperation).

The concept of 'gotong royong' or mutual cooperation itself has been successfully implemented by PRMN and Promedia by cooperating with everyone who has journalistic experiences to be invited to become media entrepreneurs.

“So the assets are passion and commitment to becoming a media entrepreneur. Each partner does not need to spend any capital, we will be the ones who will invest in technology and IT,” he explained.

To Regent Ipuk, Agus also explained about the opening of job opportunities in PRMN and Promedia Technology media.

"Hundreds of media belonging to PRMN have succeeded in creating job opportunities for thousands of content creators," he said.

At the meeting, which lasted about an hour, Agus clearly explained the recruitment system, training program, and job placement for content creators in hundreds of PRMN media.

"We don't require difficult processes to become content creators. As long as they can read and write, are unemployed, and have a passion for learning, we will train them," he explained.

Regarding the opening of job opportunities in the content creator field, Regent Ipuk expressed his interest in exploring cooperation with PRMN.

Regent Ipuk also welcomed PRMN's efforts to help promote MSME actors in Banyuwangi Regency.
