JAKARTADAILY.ID – Pertamina NRE (PT Pertamina Power Indonesia) and PT Jababeka Infrastruktur are partnering to develop a solar power plant at Jababeka's Green Industry Cluster.
Indonesian Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Arifin Tasrif, said that his party supports global partnerships not only between the private sector but also with the public sector to encourage the implementation of green industries.

"We hope that today's partnership can encourage more business through collaborative cooperation between the public and private sectors," he said in a press statement quoted Wednesday, August 31, 2022.
On the same occasion, Pertamina President Director Nicke Widyawati said that the collaboration between Pertamina NRE and Jababeka was in line with the government's goal of transitioning to cleaner energy.
The installation of this PLTS will also provide more benefits for tenants in the green industrial cluster area in Jababeka.

"In addition, this project will provide benefits for industrial tenants in Jababeka in increasing the use of new and renewable energy," said Nicke.
In line with Nicke, CEO of Pertamina NRE, Dannif Danusaputro said that the Green industrial cluster is one of Pertamina NRE's future business focuses.
“We really welcome this synergy strategy, considering that this project supports emission reduction efforts. Pertamina NRE is very enthusiastic to provide solutions for industries that are committed to increasing the use of green energy," said Dannif.

The signing of the contract is a follow-up to the memorandum of understanding signed by Pertamina and Jababeka on January 18, 2022.
Both entities have the same vision of supporting energy transition efforts and achieving the national target of net zero emissions by 2060.
