JAKARTADAILY.ID - AVALVE, the leading smart farm technology company in Korea, has announced its entry into the Indonesian market following its first international success in Vietnam. The company is focusing on the strawberry and Korean ginseng smart farm markets in Indonesia through partnerships with local companies.

AVALVE aims to proliferate the use of its proprietary Artificial Intelligence software technology in Indonesia’s yet traditional agricultural sector, bringing it closer to AVALVE’s goal of automated crop farming in an optimally controlled environment.

AVALVE’s smart farm solution monitors and identifies the condition of plants in real-time through its proprietary AI-integrated system, and it automatically adjusts the environment so that anyone is able to grow crops without the assistance of experts.

AVALVE technology significantly reduces labor costs and energy consumption, boosts crop production, and speeds up growth compared to not only traditional farms but also smart farms.

It also notifies users via a dashboard of data including pest occurrence, weight, and crop growth stages that can only be seen with the naked eye. Users can easily use the system with a two-week training on the dashboard.

AVALVE has achieved recognition and success domestically and successfully entered the Vietnamese smart farm market in 2022 after completing its technology development. An MOU was signed with a prominent local company, Hi-Tech Park (Binh Xuyen High Tech Agriculture and Forestry Company Ltd.), and Hachi Corporation, which was selected as one of Asia's most innovative startups.

A large-scale ginseng sprouts smart farm complex was constructed close to Hanoi, Vietnam. The 264.5-hectare (264.5 ha) facility utilized AVALVE's AI solution. More than 100 million Korean ginseng plants are expected to be cultivated annually regardless of the climate and it provides natural taste and nutrition.

Ginseng (fresh ginseng, ginseng sprouts, etc.) is one of the most popular foods in Vietnam, and its popularity is increasing in various fields such as ginseng masks, ginseng liquor, and ginseng drinks. Vietnamese distributors plan to use ginseng grown on AVALVE's smart farm to release it in a variety of products.

In addition, AVALVE successfully introduced AI smart farm software by participating in ‘CES 2023' held in Las Vegas, United States, in January, and is developing a number of collaborative business models with foreign smart farm companies.

Max Lee, the CEO of AVALVE, stated, “Smart Farm is an innovative technology that can realize more than 10 times the production compared to existing open fields, and it is an industrial field with infinite potential in the future. We intend to overcome the limitations of existing smart farms with AI and proprietary technology and innovate the overall market.”

KyuTae Park, AVALVE’s co-CEO, said, “Based on our entry into Vietnam, we will supply AVALVE's smart farm solutions to more countries such as Indonesia, Thailand, Armenia, and the Middle East with hopes to become a global No.1 smart farm company.”
AVALVE's entry into the Indonesian smart farm market marks another milestone for the company as it continues to expand its global footprint and introduce innovative smart farm technology to the world.

AVALVE is actively searching for local partners with industry experts who would build the dream and share the fruits together.
