PT Krakatau Tirta Industri and PT Amman Mineral Industri Sign Agreement for Industrial Water Supply

JAKARTADAILY.ID – Krakatau Steel's subsidiary, PT Krakatau Tirta Industri (KTI), has signed a Product Purchase Agreement with PT Amman Mineral Industri (AMIN) for industrial water supply.

The signing was attended by AMIN's board of directors and management, as well as KTI's board of directors and management.

The collaboration between KTI and AMIN is a milestone in the field of industrial water supply and will support AMIN's smelter project for a period of 30 years.

KTI's President Director, Alugoro Mulyowahyudi, expressed gratitude for AMIN's trust in KTI's ability to provide desalinated water and demineralized water.

He stated that KTI is committed to meeting the expectations of its customers, including PT Amman Mineral Industri.

Rachmat Makkasau, President Director of PT Amman Mineral Industri, emphasized the importance of collaboration to support AMIN's operations and business with its smelter project.

PT Amman Mineral Industri is part of the AMMAN group, which builds and operates a smelter facility in West Sumbawa Regency, West Nusa Tenggara.

The facility was built using the latest technology and is environmentally friendly. KTI's capacity to provide desalinated and demineralized water will support AMIN's operations.

KRAS's President Director, Silmy Karim, expressed his appreciation for KTI's achievements and commitment to contributing positively to the progress of the Krakatau Steel Group.

He stated that the holding company appreciates and will continue to support KTI's efforts as a subsidiary of KRAS. The facility is expected to launch in the fourth quarter of 2023.
