PLN ICON Plus Installs Rooftop PLTS Service at Taman Mini Culrural Park to Support Green Tourism Program

JAKARTAADAILY.ID – PLN ICON Plus, Subholding Beyond kWh from PLN, is present in supporting renewable energy solutions or Green Solutions in Indonesia. Service products provided by PLN ICON Plus include the provision of rooftop PV services such as those built at Taman Mini Cultural Park Jakarta (TMII).

The service from PLN ICON Plus at TMII is present at the same time in an effort to support the Green Tourism program from the Government.

Director of PLN ICON Plus, Ari Rahmat Indra Cahyadi said that PLN through PLN ICON Plus is ready to support Green Tourism in Indonesia with Green Solutions, including through rooftop PV services.

"We from PLN Icon Plus participate in supporting the Green Tourism program in Indonesia, such as in Taman Mini Indonesia Indah. For the initial stage, we have installed a rooftop PLTS on top of the TMII management building with a capacity of 5500 Watt peak (Wp). This installation is a pilot project carried out by PLN Icon Plus with the support of PLN holding for tourism in Indonesia," said Ari Rahmat.

"The collaboration between PLN ICON Plus and Partners in providing rooftop PLTS services at TMII is a concrete manifestation of PLN Icon Plus as part of the PLN Group in bringing clean energy in Indonesia, especially in the tourism sector," continued Ari Rahmat.

This rooftop PLTS service is designed to provide environmentally friendly renewable energy solutions to the community by utilizing the potential of solar energy through Rooftop Solar Power Plants (Rooftop PLTS).

This rooftop PLTS with an installed capacity of 5500 Watt peak, if operated for 25 years, will be able to produce 175000 kWh of clean energy or the equivalent of reducing emissions by 175 tons of CO2 or the equivalent of planting 4480 trees. (***)
