Agung Podomoro Land and PT KAI Plan to Build Extension of Tigaraksa Station and Tenjo Flyover

JAKARTADAILY.ID – Developer Agung Podomoro Land (APLN) together with PT Kereta Api Indonesia (PT KAI), plans to build an extension of Tigaraksa Station in Tangerang Regency.

This collaboration, which is also supported by the Indonesian Ministry of Transportation, Tangerang Regency Government, and Bogor Regency Government, will also build a flyover in Tenjo, Bogor Regency.

APLN's President Director, Bacelius Ruru, said that his party had prepared 2.2 hectares of land for these two projects.

The station extension project was built from Tigaraksa Station which is 750 meters from the existing Tigaraksa Station. The two station buildings will be connected by a 600-meter-long pedestrian sky bridge or flyover.

The station extension building will later be integrated with the Transit Oriented Development (TOD) area developed by APLN.

He explained that APLN's role in the rail transportation infrastructure project is in line with the company's agenda to develop the TOD area in Podomoro Tenjo City.

"The project starts at its groundbreaking now, but we estimate that the construction will be completed in one year," Bacelius said in a press release, Saturday, October 16, 2022.

Meanwhile, the Director of Strategic Planning and Business Development of KAI, Sandry Pasambuna, said that the Fly Over on Jl. Raya Tenjo will be built to eliminate crossing a railroad plot with a highway.

This flyover was realized with the support of the government through the Ministry of Transportation and the Bogor Regency Government.

“With the construction of Fly Over on Jl. Raya Tenjo, it will be able to improve the safety of train travel and road users as well as overcome the congestion that has been occurring in the area," he explained.

Sandry said that KAI's collaboration with various parties is one of KAI's efforts in optimizing the company's assets in order to provide more value to the public, mass transportation users.
