JAKARTADAILY.ID – Indonesian Public Housing Savings Management Agency (BP Tapera) launched a Collective Investment Contract (KIK) for the fertilization of the Islamic Money Market Tapera Fund in Jakarta, on Wednesday 7 September 2022.
BP Tapera appointed Five Investment Managers to manage the KIK namely, PT Bahana TCW Investment Management, PT Batavia Asset Management, PT BNI Asset Management, PT Danareksa Investment Management, and PT Manulife Asset Management, with an initial management value of Rp169.5 Billion.
These five Investment Managers will manage KIK investment instruments in an integrated and optimal manner by applying the principle of prudence, the application of risk management, and compliance with the provisions of laws and regulations.
To note, KIK Tapera Fund Fertilization is a product in the capital market intended for the management of Tapera Fund Fertilization Funds as mandated by Law no. 4 of 2016 concerning Public Housing Savings (Tapera), PP 25 of 2020 concerning the Implementation of Tapera, POJK No. 66/POJK.04/2020 of 2020 concerning Guidelines for Collective Investment Contracts for Tapera Funds, and BP Tapera Regulation Number 5 of 2021 concerning Management of Tapera Funds in which BP Tapera appoints an Investment Manager for the management of the KIK for the Fertilization of Tapera Funds.
The inaugural launch of the Islamic Money Market Tapera Fund Fertilization KIK is a follow-up to BP Tapera in terms of managing the Tapera Fund with Sharia principles.

BP Tapera itself officially launched the Tapera Syariah Fund Management Contract (KPDTS) on August 23th in Aceh which has been supported by its implementation with the remarks of the Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia, at the inaugural launch.
The establishment of this KPDTS aims to provide adequate liquidity to fulfill short-term obligations for managing Tapera funds.
Commissioner of BP Tapera, Adi Setianto said that the launch of the Islamic Money Market Tapera Fund Fertilization KIK is a form of BP Tapera's real commitment to be able to participate in supporting sharia finance and the halal value chain, especially in the housing sector so that it can support the development of the sharia economy towards an independent Indonesia. prosperous, and civilized by becoming the world's leading Islamic economic center.

"We hope that the tapera funds allocated to the fertilization "pocket" can further stimulate the enthusiasm of the capital market. With the launch of the Islamic Money Market Tapera Fund KIK, it is hoped that asset under management (AUM) funds will also increase in the capital market," said Adi Setianto.
For information, with the initial launch of the Sharia Money Market KIK amounting to Rp169.5 billion, overall both sharia and conventional principles, BP Tapera has invested Rp 3.24 trillion in time deposits and capital market securities.
The launch of the KIK for the Fertilization of Sharia Money Market Funds is carried out at a Net Asset Value/Participation Unit (NAV/UP) of Rp.1,000.00.
