JAKARTADAILY.ID --- The President of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) Joko Widodo visited the Green Office Park (GOP) area, BSD City, Tangerang, Banten Province, last Friday to understand the concept of Sinar Mas Land Directors in building a new city in the area. This visit is inseparable from the government's plan to move the State Capital from Jakarta to East Kalimantan Province.

During his visit, the President received an explanation from Sinar Mas Land's Managing Director President Office Dhony Rahajoe and Sinar Mas Land's Chief Digital Tech Ecosystem & Development Irawan Harahap. An explanation of the development of the BSD City area is conveyed through a multimedia screen and city mock-up.

The visit was followed by a review of the GOP Building environment and the command center room at the Sinar Mas Land Plaza Building to see how traffic conditions and security in the BSD City area can be monitored at this command center. The visit ended at the Mall without Wall The Breeze BSD City. The President was very happy to be able to visit BSD City and asked a number of Ministers and regional heads to visit this area.

During the working visit, President Joko Widodo was also very interested in the application of the green district, green building, and green office concepts in BSD City. Sinar Mas Land combines the interests of business and office activities through the concept of green building with the interests of environmental conservation in the BSD Green Office Park area under review, including the Sinar Mas Land Plaza BSD Building and GOP 9.

The GOP area and office buildings built on it have implemented the concept of sustainable development in their operations, namely green building, low carbon emission, energy saving, water resource management, green waste management, and less plastic. Both the GOP area and other buildings have obtained green district and green building certificates from the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) Singapore and from the Green Building Council Indonesia (GBCI).

Jatake Station 


The Sinar Mas Land Board of Directors also explained the joint plan with PT Kereta Api Indonesia (PT KAI) Tbk to develop the TOD Jatake Station in Tangerang Regency, Banten by cooperating with foreign investors, namely Mitsubishi Corporation and Surbana Jurong.

The President of the Republic of Indonesia gave direction and full support for the TOD development plan with the investor and asked all parties to support the acceleration of its development so that there are no obstacles. The construction site for Jatake Station will be on the Tanah Abang - Merak crossing at KM 37+045 between Cicayur Station and Parung Panjang Station.

Present on the occasion were Suharso Monoarfa (Minister of National Development Planning/Head of National Development Planning Agency), Pratikno (Minister of State Secretary), Bahlil Lahadalia (Minister of Investment/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board), Wahidin Halim (Governor of Banten), and Ahmed Zaki Iskandar (Regent of Tangerang).
