'The Press Is Part of My Life' Erick Thohir Said During National Press Day in Medan

JAKARTADAILY.ID – Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN) Erick Thohir said that the press has become part of his life. Apart from ministers, Erick is still in control of several media companies within the MAHAKA business group, including Republika Online, and various radio stations.

"For me, the press has become part of my life," he said in a written statement.

For this reason, Erick took the time to come to Medan, North Sumatra, Thursday (9/2/2023) to attend the 2023 National Press Day (HPN). As well as accompany President Joko Widodo who was both present at the same event.

"I congratulate all members of the press who are commemorating National Press Day (HPN) 2023," he said.

According to him, the press is a very effective tool to play a role in encouraging the nation's education.
