Lion Air Reopens Umrah Flights From Banda Aceh to Medina, Saudi Arabia

Danang added that on direct Umrah flights from Aceh, Lion Air collaborated with an official travel partner (umrah travel) PT Belangi Tour and Travel Banda Aceh to support the implementation of worship to the holy land in offering easy connectivity.

"Umrah flights through Aceh will help people from West Aceh District, Southwest Aceh District, Aceh Besar District, Aceh Jaya District, South Aceh District, Banda Aceh City, Sabang City, and other areas around," said Danang in a press release Jakarta, Wednesday, January 11, 2023.

For this Umrah flight, Lion Air is preparing a modern fleet of Boeing 737 aircraft. The main feature offers two inflight meals. The plane with a capacity of 215 economy class seats has a seat layout (configuration) of 3-3 single aisles.
