Welcoming the New Year holidays Holiday, BBTN Prepares Rp19 Trillion in Cash

JAKARTADAILY.ID – PT Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk (BTN) has prepared around Rp19 trillion in cash to meet customer needs during Christmas and New Year holidays.

The bank registered in the Indonesian Stock Exchange with the BBTN code is preparing these funds for use during the period December 19^th, 2022 to January 1^st, 2023.

This amount has increased compared to the allocation of cash funds for the Nataru holiday last year which reached Rp18.029 trillion.

"To ensure adequate cash needs for customers ahead of and after Christmas 2022 and New Year 2023 during the period December 19^th, 2022 to January 1^st, 2023 or 14 days, the total liquidity prepared by BTN is around Rp19 trillion," said Bank BTN Corporate Secretary Achmad Chaerul in his written statement, Thursday, December 22, 2022.

Chaerul revealed, a total of Rp19 trillion, around 25 percent or Rp4.746 trillion will be alerted to BTN ATM machines spread throughout Indonesia. Then Rp. 14.238 trillion or 75 percent of the total cash funds will be alerted at Bank BTN outlets in various regions.

According to Chaerul, this year the allocation of cash funds has increased compared to the previous year because people's mobility has increased again as the Covid-19 pandemic subsides.

"The allocation of cash funds this year has taken into account the increase in transactions through Bank BTN's digital delivery channel, as well as the number of Christmas and New Year 2023 holidays," concluded Chaerul.
