Batik Air Opens Non-Stop Flights from Denpasar to Bangkok to Meet Increasing Business and Traveler Demands

JAKARTADAILY.ID – Batik Air, will open a new international route connecting Bali with Thailand, starting on January 20, 2023, from I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport Denpasar in Bali (DPS) to Bangkok Don Mueang International Airport (BKK).

Corporate Communications Strategic of Batik Air, Danang Mandala Prihantoro, explained that Batik Air flights from Bali to Bangkok are carried out every day or seven times a week without transit (non-stop).

The flight route from Bali (DPS) to Bangkok (DMK), with flight number ID-7637, departs at 14.00 WITA (Eastern Indonesia Times) and arrives at 17.15 GMT+07.

In contrast, the flight route from Bangkok (DMK) to Bali (DPS), uses flight number ID-7636. The departure schedule is at 13.50 GMT+07 and the arrival schedule is at 19.00 WITA.

"On this flight, every passenger, namely business people and tourists, get food and drinks (inflight meals); 20 kg of free baggage for economy class and 30 kg for business class," said Danang, in a press statement quoted Monday, December 19, 2022.

On the return flight from Bali to Bangkok, Batik Air operates Boeing 737-800NG aircraft (12 business class and 156 economy class).

According to Danang, the opening of this route is in line with the enthusiasm of business people and travelers in Indonesia and Thailand.

"This new route is expected to facilitate accessibility for businessmen and travelers between countries. It also offers the opportunity to visit and explore each country."
