JAKARTADAILY.ID – The Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan sent off the export of canned sardines produced by CV Pacific Harvest to Australia worth $902,000 or around Rp 14 billion.
This export release is the first stage of the company's total export contracts to Australia, amounting to $2.7 million, or the equivalent of Rp 42.4 billion, until the end of 2022.

"We welcome the release of the first export of canned sardines produced by CV. Pacific Harvest, especially in the midst of challenging global economic conditions. The success of entering the Australian market for CV Pacific Harvest shows that there are always opportunities in any condition," said the Minister of Trade, Jakarta, Tuesday, November 22, 2022.
“We need to support companies engaged in the seafood sector to make progress, absorb more workers, and meet domestic and foreign markets.
This company is very strategic because it absorbs marine products and then processes them for domestic interests and export purposes," said Zulkifli.

The Minister of Trade appreciated the efforts of Indonesian business actors in supporting the government to increase Indonesia's export and economic growth.
The Minister of Trade continues to encourage business players to expand Indonesia's export destination markets by utilizing Indonesia's trade relations and trade agreements with partner countries.
“The key is cooperation to move forward. The government and entrepreneurs help each other to increase Indonesia's exports.

Potential markets to explore include Africa, the Middle East, and South Asia," said Zulkifli Hasan.
Export Manager of CV Pacific Harvest Anang Kurniawan appreciates the efforts of the Ministry of Trade in promoting Indonesian seafood products through the offices of the Indonesian Trade Promotion Center (ITPC).
He said seafood products such as sardines and tuna fish have the potential to continue to be developed.
