Indonesia Books Rp 23.2 Billion in Potential Transactions from Trade Mission to Qatar

JAKARTADAILY.ID – Indonesia managed to record a potential transaction of Rp23.2 billion on the Trade Mission to Qatar led by the Minister of Trade Zulkifli Hasan.

The potential transaction was successfully recorded during the business matching session which was held on Monday 10 October 2022 in Doha, Qatar.

"Alhamdullilah, the trade mission to Qatar managed to record a potential transaction of Rp 23.2 billion obtained from business matching," said Indonesian Trade Minister Zulkifli Hasan as quoted from the ministry of trade.go.id page, Wednesday, October 12, 2022.

Zulkifli said the transactions came from beauty and hospitality products, spices and seasonings, snacks and processed foods, frozen fish, garments, and crafts.

The recorded potential value still has the potential to continue to grow in line with the various follow-up actions of business actors after the trade mission.

"This value has the potential to continue to grow, considering that business actors are still following up on requests from potential partners who have been brought together in exploring this trade agreement," added Trade Minister Zulkifli Hasan.

The exploration of the trade agreement was attended by 11 Indonesian business actors and 42 Qatari business actors.

Indonesia's mainstay products brought include palm oil and its derivatives, paper products, automotive, batteries, food and beverages, home decorations, handicraft products, garments, and beauty products.
