Astra Financial Ready to Exceed the Transaction Target at GIIAS Medan 2022

JAKARTADAILY.ID – Astra Financial is back at GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) at Medan North Sumatra.

Project Director of Astra Financial GIIAS 2022, Tan Chian Hok said, seeing the success of the two previous GIIAS events in Tangerang and Surabaya, is optimistic that Astra Financial can exceed the transaction value target at the previous two GIIAS events at Tanggerang and Surabaya.

"During the GIIAS Medan 2022 exhibition, we expect the same success as GIIAS Tangerang and Surabaya," said Tan Chian Hok, in a press release quoted Sunday, October 9, 2022.

In the first half of 2022, car sales reached 28,690 units, which is 40 percent higher than the same period last year which was only 20,440 units.

"Astra Financial is committed to supporting the growth of the automotive industry in Indonesia, which is manifested by Financial's presence at GIIAS Tangerang, Surabaya, and now in the city of Medan," he said.

Previously at GIIAS Surabaya 2022, Astra Financial managed to exceed the target until the closing of the event with a transaction value of Rp315.83 billion or 104.24 percent above the original target of Rp300 billion.

Meanwhile, at GIIAS ICE BSD Tangerang, Astra Financial managed to exceed the target with a transaction value of Rp1.557 trillion or 4 percent above the target of Rp1.50 trillion until the closing of the event.

With these results, when added to the performance achievements at GIIAS 2022 Jakarta and Surabaya, Astra Financial has managed to record transactions of Rp1.873 trillion, an increase of 80.97 percent compared to GIIAS events in both cities in 2021 which only reached Rp035 trillion.

GIIAS Medan will be held from 5 - 9 October at the Santika Convention Center, Medan. Astra Financial will be present with nine business units, ranging from four-wheeled vehicle financing services to Astra Credit Companies (ACC) & Toyota Astra Financial Services (TAF).

Also present were two-wheeled vehicle financing services by FIFGROUP, insurance services from Asuransi Astra and Astra Life, to digital financial services from Maucash, AstraPay, Moxa, and SEVA.
