JAKARTADAILY.ID – Indonesian Regional Police Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Fadil Imran promised to take firm action against traffic police that are found to have committed code or ethical violations.
"I will not tolerate any form of violation," said Fadil while attending the celebration of the 67th Bhayangkara traffic day which was held in the Hotel Indonesia roundabout area, Sunday, September 18, 2022.
Fadil also ordered his members to continue to prioritize humane action and prevent traffic violations. For him, the active role of traffic police officers is very much needed in facing the challenges of the increasingly difficult and complex task of the police.

This is done in order to create public peace so that people can work more productively.
"Of course, this is in line with the theme of this activity, which is traffic police that is precise, recover and rise together towards a developed Indonesia," he explained.
Meanwhile, the Director of Traffic of the Polda Metro Jaya, Chief Commissioner Latif Usman, acknowledged and did not deny that there were "bad" police officers in the traffic department.
"We also realize that there are still our members who have not been able to carry out their duties properly, once again we apologize to the community," said Latif.

In the event of the 67th Bhayangkara traffic day, Fadil Imran also emphasized to his staff not to take the traffic jam problem lightly, especially in DKI Jakarta.
"Again, I remind you not to take the issue of traffic jams for granted," said Fadil in his statement.
Fadil asked his staff to be able to move quickly in early detection of the causes of congestion and find solutions to the congestion.
"This effort cannot be separated from coordination with other policymakers," said Fadil
