Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show Will Next Be Held in Surabaya with the Support of Astra Financial

JAKARTADAILY.ID – After being successfully held at ICE BSD Tangerang last August, now the City of Surabaya, East Java is the next destination in the series of Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2022.

GIIAS 2022 Surabaya Is the biggest automotive event in Indonesia. It will be held at Grand City Convex, on September 14-18, 2022.

Astra Financial together with 9 of its 14 business units will again participate in the success of GIIAS Surabaya at Grand City Convex, Surabaya on September 14-18, 2022.

Project Director of Astra Financial GIIAS 2022, Tan Chian Hok said, Astra Financial strongly supports the growth of the automotive industry in Indonesia, especially in East Java which is one of the big markets in Indonesia.

Tan Chian Hok revealed, the annual car sales figure in East Java continued to experience positive growth, increasing 27 percent from 71,293 units in 2020 to 90,623 in 2021.

Meanwhile, annual motorcycle sales in East Java also increased from 504,703 units in 2020 to 582,211 in 2021 or an increase of 15.4 percent.

During the event in the City of Heroes, Astra Financial carried a booth with the theme Spirit of Future in line with this year's GIIAS theme, Future is Bright.
