JAKARTADAILY.ID – Astra Financial recorded a transaction value of Rp 1.557 trillion in the 2022 GAIKINDO Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) at the Indonesia Convention Exhibition (ICE) BSD City, Banten on 11-21 August 2022.
On a year-on-year (YoY) basis, this figure also increased by 87.59 percent compared to the GIIAS Jakarta 2021 event, where Astra Financial recorded a total transaction value of Rp 830 billion.
The transaction value also exceeded the target set at Rp 1.50 trillion during this automotive exhibition event.
"The achievement of transactions worth Rp 1,557 trillion is certainly inseparable from the public's trust in the reputation and excellent service of Astra Financial. This is also driven by various attractive promos that are presented to make it easier for GIIAS visitors to have their dream vehicles," explained Tan Chian Hok, Project Director of Astra Financial at GIIAS 2022 in a written statement on Sunday, August 21, 2022.
This year is the fourth year Astra Financial has participated as a participant as well as a platinum sponsor of GIIAS.
Nine business units that are members of Astra Financial, namely FIFGROUP, Astra Credit Companies (ACC), Toyota Astra Finance (TAF), Astra Insurance, AstraLife, AstraPay, Maucash, Moxa to SEVA are here to support the largest international event in Southeast Asia.

Tan Chian Hok, who is usually called Ahok, explained that during GIIAS, the promos offered included ACC & TAF for financing four-wheeled vehicles, FIFGROUP for financing two-wheeled vehicles, and vehicle protection from Astra Insurance and life protection from Astra Life.
"Supported by digital financial services AstraPay, Maucash, and Moxa which also provide special programs to provide convenience for transactions during GIIAS," he said.
Ahok added, not to mention the newcomer, namely SEVA, which facilitated the process of buying a car with the Financing First concept and the Instant Approval feature, which contributed greatly to this transaction.

The automotive industry, which previously experienced a decline due to the pandemic in 2020, is now slowly returning to a positive trend since last year.
Data from Gaikindo, the realization of wholesale cars nationwide during January-June 2022 reached 475,321 units, up 20.8 percent compared to the same period in 2021 which only reached 393,466 units.
