Astra Financial Targeting Rp 2 Trillion in Transactions at GIIAS 2022

JAKARTADAILY.ID – Astra Financial is targeting upwards of Rp 2 trillion in transactions at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2022. This amount is double the acquisition of Astra Financial transactions at GIIAS 2021 worth more than Rp 1 trillion.

"Repeating the success of 2021 where our achievement was Rp 1 trillion for Jakarta, Surabaya, and Medan because we know the automotive market has increased by 50 percent, our target is Rp 2 trillion with a total of 4,000 units," said Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) Astra Credit Companies (ACC) Tan Chian Hok or Ahok in Jakarta, Monday, August 8, 2022.

Ahok explained that the total number of targets including GIIAS 2022 in Jakarta, Surabaya, and Medan.

Ahok estimates that Jakarta will lead the acquisition of transactions with a minimum achievement of Rp 1.5 trillion, followed by Surabaya and Medan which meet the total target.

Meanwhile, Astra Financial Director-in-Charge Suparno Djasmin estimates that the largest transaction contribution will come from financing business units such as Astra Credit Companies (ACC) and Toyota Astra Finance (TAF). Because 70 percent of car buyers in Indonesia use credit.

This year, Astra Financial brought nine of its 14 business units to GIIAS. They include; FIFGROUP, Astra Credit Companies (ACC), and Toyota Astra Finance (TAF).

Then, Astra Insurance and Astra Life. Not to forget, Astra Financial's digital financial services were also present to enliven GIIAS, namely AstraPay, Maucash, MOXA, and SEVA.
