JAKARTADAILY.ID – PT Trans Jabar Tol (TJT), a toll road operator subsidiary of PT Waskita Toll Road secured Rp 53.54 billion ($3.57 million) in capital injection to help fund the Ciawi-Sukabumi toll road project.
The capital injection was made via new shares issuance, in which PT Waskita Toll Road bought 107,090 new shares of PT TJT.
In a filing to the Indonesia Stock Exchange, as seen on Wednesday, June 27, 2022, PT TJT said its parent PT Waskita Toll Road, remains the 99.99 percent owner of PT TJT after the capital injection.
However, the value of the shares of PT TJT that are owned by PT Waskita Toll Road increased to Rp 1.87 trillion from previously Rp 1.82 trillion.
Koperasi Waskita owns 0.01 percent stake in PT TJT.
PT Waskita Toll Road is, in turn, 92.1 percent owned by Indonesian listed state construction company PT Waskita Karya Tbk.
The value of the latest capital injection by PT Waskita Toll Road into PT TJT is equivalent to just 0.35 percent of the total Waskita Karya's equity, which stood at Rp 15.46 trillion as of December 2022.
