JAKARTADAILY.ID - The spread of the hoax which in the last few weeks had gone viral has finally found a bright spot.
A number of twitter accounts made clarifications regarding allegations of spreading false information or hoaxes about PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk or BNI which distributes financing without collateral.
Quoted from the official BNI website, twitter account owners who clarified and apologized included @Adinda_Asmara2 or Adinda Adinda Asmarawati, @Mdy_Asmara or Maudy Asmara, and @Ajengcute16_.
Ajeng, one of the twitter account owners as well as representing two other netizens, confirmed that he was involved in spreading false information or hoaxes about BNI.

In his statement, Ajeng stated that he did not intend to accuse BNI, but rather questioned the veracity of the alleged credit without collateral. If the allegations of providing BNI loans to coal companies in South Sumatra are not true, then Ajeng apologizes.
"If it is not true (credit without collateral by BNI), we apologize," wrote Ajeng in a written statement.
Ajeng also asked a number of parties to re-examine the tweets that had gone viral. She confirmed that the tweet was accompanied by the presumption of innocence.
She also said that the tweet was accompanied by a screenshot of the news circulating in the mass media.
"We include the suspect and include questions," wrote Ajeng in a written statement.

Not long ago, the Deputy Chairman of the United Federation of SOEs (FSP) for advocacy, Julius Amo, said that BNI could take legal action by reporting the parties spreading the hoax.
The spread of hoax issues can be charged with criminal acts of the Information and Electronic Transactions Law (UU ITE).
This law can protect BNI because it is able to ensure that every loan disbursement goes through a legal process including collateral requirements that are in accordance with the value of the loan facility.
