Chief Commissioner Ilham Habibie Steps Down, Bank Muamalat Reorganizes Management

JAKARTADAILY.ID – PT Bank Muamalat Indonesia Tbk held the 2022 Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) and Extraordinary General Meeting of Shareholders (EGMS) on June 24, 2022, at Muamalat Tower, South Jakarta.

In this Annual GMS, several agendas were approved, including the Company's Annual Report for the 2021 Fiscal Year, the Report on the Supervisory Duties of the Board of Commissioners and the Sharia Supervisory Board for the 2021 Fiscal Year as well as the ratification of the Company's Financial Statements for the 2021 Fiscal Year.

In addition, the Company also approved the use of the Company's Net Profit for the 2021 Fiscal Year, approval of the act of guaranteeing the Company's assets as collateral for the debts of the Company or other parties, and the report on the Realization of the Use of Proceeds from the Public Offering through Additional Capital by Granting Pre-emptive Rights VI (“PMHMETD VI”) Company.

In the Extraordinary GMS, 2 things were approved, namely: the meeting approved the resignation of Ilham Akbar Habibie from the position of the Chief Commissioner and the independent commissioner of the company.

The Company made changes to the composition of the management at the level of commissioners and directors. Iggi Haruman Achsien was appointed as the main commissioner to replace Ilham Akbar Habibie.

In addition, Bank Muamalat also appointed KH Marsyudi Suhud, Amin Said Husni and Sartono as commissioners. Meanwhile, Edy Setiadi and Juni Supriyanto resigned from their commissioner positions.

On the board of directors, Karno was appointed as Director of Compliance replacing Andri Donny.

Accordingly, the composition of the company's management after the EGMS is as follows:
