JAKARTADAILY.ID - BNI collaborated with Legend and Former British National Team Captain John Terry to promote Indonesian MSME products to increase their penetration in the European market.
John Terry said Indonesia has a variety of quality handicraft products. Indonesian products are seen as capable of adorning the British market and have a strong enough appeal with their cultural values.
"I am interested in one of the handmade songket woven fabrics. I think Indonesian MSME products can be well received in the British market," he said.

General Manager of BNI London, Roekma Hari Adji, said that BNI has a duty to continue to encourage exports from Indonesian businesses, especially SMEs in order to increase their class.
He continued. According to him, the UK has a very strong market as well as purchasing power so it is suitable for Indonesian handicraft products.
"We hope that this collaboration can be an encouragement for many Indonesian MSME players to continue to improve their quality and production capacity to be able to answer the potential for increasing global demand," he said.

He continued that the London Branch of BNI has an important role in bridging Indonesia's economic activities with the global ones, especially in Europe, the Middle East to Africa.
