Putra Siregar Defends Rizky Billar and Lesti Kejora in the Doni Salmanan Case

JAKARTADAILY.ID - The entrepreneur Putra Siregar shared his opinion over the involvement of Lesti Kejora and Rizky Billar in Doni Salmanan's case.

As is known, Lesti and Rizky have received a thick envelope from Doni Salamanan during their wedding in August 2021. Rizky also posted a video on his Youtube account to show what's in the envelope.

"When we shook hands, 'Billar, here I [would like to] entrust something,' said Doni. It was a thick brown envelope. I like anything thick. Hence I accepted it," said Rizky Billar.

After Doni Salmanan was named a suspect, Rizky and Lesty's said envelope might be confiscated because the police have alerted anyone who has received any funds from Doni Salmanan to report it immediately.

"For anyone who has received funds or goods from the suspects, either from IK (Indra Kenz) or DS (Doni Salmanan), to report it immediately," said Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan, Head of the Public Information Bureau of the National Police Public Relations Division.

In response to this issue, Putra Siregar considers Lesti and Rizky to be not guilty.

"I don't think they [Lesti and Rizky] made any mistakes. However, there is a law here," said Putra through Seleb On Cam's Youtube channel on Monday, March 14, 2022. Furthermore, Putra Siregar said the refund matter relies on the authorities' policy.

"[If later] the police ask for a refund, then it's their authority," he said.

However, Putra considers the couple as not guilty since they don't know the source of money they received from Doni.

"But for me personally, I'd say they didn't make any mistakes. Since they have no idea where was the source of money or what it was like [the issues]," said Putra.

He also hoped that Lesti Kejora and Rizky Billar would not be dragged too far in the case.

"Hopefully, Dede [Lesti's nickname] and Rizky Billar will be just fine and not be dragged too far in this case," he concluded.
