JAKARTADAILY.ID - Tedi Supardi Muslih was elected as chairman of the Regional Management of the DKI Jakarta Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII) for the period 2021-2024 at the Jakarta APJII Regional Government Deliberation, Wednesday.

Tedi received 52 votes from members, while his opponent Henry received 38 votes.

Previously, the founder of the technology news portal Cyberthreat.id said he was interested in running for the election because he "wanted to build a better APJII in the future," as quoted by Cyberthreat.id on Wednesday, December 15, 2021.

"In my opinion, the vision and mission in APJII's AD/ART carried out by the General Chair of APJII Muhammad Arif is very interesting, has a strong spirit of unity, so that it can channel positive energy to internet users," he said.

Tedi expressly stated that he is determined to translate the digital ecosystem concept from APJII Derus into a digital ecology that he will design in DKI Jakarta. "The most important thing is that the DKI Jakarta APJII Regional Office must be progressive and harmonious in translating the digital ecosystem, I call it digital ecology for DKI Jakarta," said Tedi.

Tedi is not new to APJII. He has been back and forth in Indonesia's internet industry. He previously served on the board of APJII for the 2015-2018 period. He is now also on the strategic and policy analysis team at the National Cyber and Crypto Agency and the State Asset Management Information System (SIMAN) team at the Coordinating Ministry for Political, Legal, and Security Affairs.[]
