JAKARTADAILY.ID - Financial reports are the responsibility of company management while auditors are tasked with auditing financial reports and submitting audit results to the company. Likewise, the Public Accounting Firm (KAP) Crowe Indonesia conducted an audit of the financial statements of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk.
JakartaDaily's source from Crowe Indonesia said it had audited Waskita's financial statements according to procedures.
"Financial statements are the responsibility of company management and we have audited the financial statements. The audit process of the financial statements of PT Waskita Karya (Persero) Tbk has been in accordance with procedures where the results of the audit of the financial statements are contained in the Independent Auditor's Report and we have submitted it to Waskita's management," said a JakartaDaily source from Crowe Indonesia.

He said, Waskita then submitted the financial statements to the Financial Services Authority (OJK) and the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX).
There is also a very clear and mandatory standard and procedure in auditing financial statements of public accounting firms.
From the annual financial statements audited by Crowe Indonesia, Waskita has reported a consolidated net loss for the year of Rp1.83 trillion in 2021 and Rp1.67 trillion in 2022.

Meanwhile, Waskita's cash flow from operating activities was recorded to be positive, amounting to Rp. 192.78 billion in 2021 and recorded a minus of Rp 106.58 billion in 2022.
In accordance with applicable regulations, Crowe Indonesia as the public accountant is also required to report the audit results to the Ministry of Finance database.
"This is a procedure that applies to all companies audited by public accounting firms," explained a JakartaDaily source from Crowe Indonesia.

Crowe Indonesia conducted an audit of Waskita's financial statements for the 2021 and 2022 fiscal years. The Independent Auditor's Report stated that Crowe Indonesia gave its opinion that the financial statements were fairly presented in all material respects.
