JAKARTADAILY.ID – Monday, May 22, 2023, promises to be an eventful day at the Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX).

Several issuers are scheduled to conduct significant corporate actions in the form of General Meetings of Shareholders (GMS), including both Extraordinary General Meetings of Shareholders (EGMS) and Annual General Meetings of Shareholders (AGMS). Let's dive into the agenda for today.

Starting off the proceedings, PT Famon Awal Bros Sedaya Tbk (PRAY) will hold its AGMS and EGMS at Raden Saleh's house at 10:00 WIB.

This will be followed by baby food producer PT Hassana Boga Sejahtera Tbk (NAYZ), hosting its AGMS and EGMS at Amana Venue, also at 10:00 WIB. Another key player, PT First Media Tbk (KBLV), will conduct its AGMS at the Aryaduta Hotel Jakarta, also at 10:00 WIB.

Moving forward, PT Bintang Samudera Mandiri Lines Tbk (BSML) will hold its AGMS and EGMS at the Mercure Hotel Jakarta at 10:00 WIB.

Additionally, PT Batavia Prosperindo Internasional Tbk (BPII) is scheduled to carry out its AGMS and EGMS at the Chase Plaza Building in Jakarta at 13:30 WIB. PT Bank Shariah Indonesia Tbk (BRIS), a company recently tested by the crisis, will convene its AGMS at 14:00 WIB at the Mandiri Tower in Jakarta.

Furthermore, PT Charoen Pokphand Indonesia Tbk (CPIN) will hold its AGMS in Jakarta at 14:00 WIB, followed by PT Idea Indonesia Akademi Tbk (IDEA), conducting its AGMS at Amana Venue Jakarta, also at 14:00 WIB.

In other news, the Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) closed slightly higher at the end of trading on Friday, May 19, 2023, reaching a level of 6,700, up by 0.56%. Currently, the JCI is positioned below the MA20 line, with the nearest support level at 6,663.

The question remains whether the JCI will be able to maintain its position in the green zone today. Market observers eagerly await the outcome as the trading day progresses.
