JAKARTADAILY.ID –Indonesian businesses are increasingly eager to tap into overseas markets, and one of the closest countries currently being explored for export opportunities is Australia.
To support this endeavor, PT Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, also known as BNI, is actively developing the BNI Xpora business program, aimed at opening export routes to the "Down Under."
BNI Xpora is a digital solution specifically designed for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) seeking to enhance their business capacity. The development of BNI Xpora is the result of a collaboration between BNI and the BNI International Desk program, which has been established over the past few years.
Through the BNI Xpora program, BNI aims to identify potential business matches with entrepreneurs and members of the Indonesian diaspora residing in Australia.
In addition to this, BNI has been promoting the convenience of opening accounts online through its mobile banking platform. This feature has been introduced to facilitate transactions and fulfill various banking needs of the Indonesian diaspora in Australia.
During a recent visit to the office of the Indonesian Ambassador to Canberra, Siswo Pramono, and the Indonesian Consulate General Sidney Vedi Kurnia Buana, Ronny Venir, BNI's Network and Services Director, shared further details about the bank's initiatives.
He emphasized that as a global bank representing Indonesia, BNI is committed to providing comprehensive solutions for Indonesian businesses seeking to expand globally. Furthermore, BNI actively seeks cooperation with foreign investors to contribute to the development of the Indonesian economy.
"Australia is certainly a potential country for us. Through this visit, we aim to raise awareness of our products and services, enabling us to assist more domestic businesses and investors overseas," said Ronny Venir.
In its global capacity, BNI has been supporting international businesses through a range of services, including trade finance, global payments, and advisory services. These offerings are further enhanced by BNI's extensive international network, with 1,350 correspondents spanning across 89 countries worldwide.
Strategically located in major financial centers, BNI's overseas branch offices serve as sources of international funding. Currently, BNI has six branches and one representative office in strategic locations across four continents, including London and Amsterdam.
Ronny Venir explained that BNI has established international desks for Japan, Korea, and China, and has successfully facilitated the operations of 400 foreign companies.
