Insurtech Startup FUSE Offers Insurance Protection to MAPCLUB Online Shopping

Starting on April 12, 2023, the first 1,000 buyers on MAPCLUB will be able to take advantage of free insurance.

Stefani went on to explain that MAPCLUB will offer two types of insurance products: shipment insurance and product damage insurance. Shipment Insurance will not only provide replacement benefits for goods that are partially or completely damaged but also lost or partially lost due to criminal acts during the delivery period.

Product Damage insurance provides compensation benefits for physical damage or criminal acts accompanied by evidence of physical harm. The premiums for both types of insurance are very affordable, with the cheapest premiums for Product Damage Insurance starting from around 100 Rupiah. The insurance benefits cover up to IDR 50 million.

What's more, MAPCLUB members don't have to worry about checking out all the items in their cart, as they will be protected by insurance. And if a claim needs to be made, the process can be done online via the claim portal developed by FUSE. The money will be transferred to the member's account within 3 days after the claim is approved, not 14 days like conventional claims.

Insurance protection is available for a wide selection of products on the MAPCLUB platform.
