JAKARTADAILY.ID – PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk or BMRI now has a new young leader to fill its board of directors, namely Eka Fitria.
Eka was appointed Director of Treasury & International Banking after obtaining approval from shareholders at Bank Mandiri's Annual General Meeting of Shareholders (AGMS) in 2022.
Replacing another official in the same position, Panji Irawan, as of the date of the AGMS in Jakarta, on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, Eka will leave her old position at the same bank as Senior Vice President (SVP) International Banking & FI or an official at the level below the director at an all-blue bank.
Eka has been SVP since August 2021 or 1 year and 8 months, now he is promoted to a higher position.
Starting as an Assistant Manager
Eka also has quite a stellar record, as obtained from her LinkedIn account. In a way, since starting her career at Bank Mandiri in 2004 as an Assistant Manager, Eka has been trained in posts related to Treasury and International Banking.
She has held several positions related to her current position as Director, namely Head of Product Development & Alliance Desk, from February 2012 - December 2013, or 1 year 11 months. In this position, she is responsible for product development and treasury business.
Then she became Vice President of International Banking the period from April 2017 - June 2017. Her career progressed again to become General Manager for the Hong Kong Branch of Bank Mandiri, from July 2017 to October 2020.
Back to Jakarta
After 3 years and 4 months managing the Hong Kong Branch, Eka was recalled to Jakarta for promotion to SVP Treasury from October 2020 to August 2021.
Then after 11 months as SVP of Treasury, Eka was challenged to hold a new position, namely SVP International Banking & Financial Institution, from August 2021 until today.
Having worked as SVP of International Banking & Financial Institution for 1 year and 8 months, Eka was encouraged to return to her new position as determined by the AGMS this afternoon.
