President Director of AXA Insurance, Laurent Bourson said, Smart Series by AXA Insurance is here to protect Indonesians with a range of simple to comprehensive insurance protection that is tailored to their needs and easy to purchase.
"We want to create higher customer engagement and we will continue to innovate in this regard," Laurent Baurson said.

AXA Insurance Compliance Director Deddi Hamonangan said, based on OJK data, insurance penetration in Indonesia is still low. It was recorded in 2021 that it only reached 0.47 percent for general insurance penetration.
"There are basic needs for the community in terms of security. We hope that this innovation can encourage the level of literacy for the community on the importance of personal, asset, and business protection as well as being a solution to have general insurance easily," he said.
The Smart Series product range for self, family, and business consists of SmartTravel for domestic and international travel comfort, and SmartDrive for driving safety, SmartBusiness provides daily compensation to small and medium businesses against unexpected events from life, and health problems to businesses guaranteed by insurance policies.

SmartHome for home and property protection, and SmartHealth for comprehensive health protection for customers and families.
"The Smart Series products issued follow the provisions of the Financial Services Authority (OJK) to ensure the products are appropriate. Especially for SmartHealth, we are awaiting approval from the regulator," Deddi added.
Edwin Sugianto, Director of AXA Insurance explained that Smart Series products can be purchased through AXA Insurance's various distribution channels either online at AXA myPage, Livin' by Bank Mandiri application, agent partners, brokers, or through AXA Insurance's business partner companies.
"Not only that, claims can be made online in one step through the customer portal assisted by Emma, AXA Insurance's virtual assistant," he concluded. (***)
