JAKARTADAILY.ID – The Indonesian government has allocated a budget of Rp422.7 trillion for infrastructure development in 2024. The purpose of this infrastructure development is to enhance productivity, mobility, connectivity, and equitable distribution across the nation, as highlighted by President Joko Widodo in the Financial Note Address and the 2024 State Budget Draft on August 16, 2023.
Earlier in the year 2023, based on Indonesia's official website, the Indonesian government had also identified 10 new National Strategic Projects (NSP). This brings the total number of NSPs to 210 projects and 12 programs, with a total investment value of Rp5,746.4 trillion.
Adikons, as one of the heavy equipment providers in the infrastructure and construction segment, sees this as an opportunity and introduces the latest product from Furukawa Rock Drill (FRD): the Crawler Rock Drill HCR L100 from the L series, which was launched in January 2023. The L series presents a fresh look compared to the previous HCR 1500 model, and the L100 continues to utilize the effective HD700 Drifter series.

The company also introduces the HCR1200DSIII model, equipped with a CAT C7 engine and T51 rods suitable for medium-hard rock in coal mining, along with the Pneumatic Crawler Drill PCR200, a long-standing solution in stone quarry mining.
These machines feature the HD700 Drifter series manufactured by FRD, known for its powerful top hammer strikes, durability, and ease of maintenance.
With the latest L100 series equipped with the CAT C9.3B engine, Furukawa has introduced drilling modes with various fuel-saving mechanisms, ensuring end-users achieve high-level performance and productivity with reduced fuel consumption.

William Jonathan President Director of Adikons said that Furukawa Rock Drill and Furukawa Industrial Machinery Systems (FIMS) are the core businesses of ADIKONS.
"From FRD, we market Top Hammer Rock Drills as well as Down-The-Hole (DTH) Rock Drills, primarily used for blast-hole drilling. From FIMS, we promote Aggregate Crushers and, in certain limited applications, Milling Machines," he said.
“Indonesia, as a leading global commodity producer with ongoing infrastructure projects, encompasses various industries that can benefit from FRD rock drills and FIMS crushers,” he added.
The Pneumatic Rock Drill PCR200 FRD has been a favorite for stone quarry mining since 2000. The Crawler Rock Drills HCR and DCR find applications in limestone, coal, and gold mining projects. While commodity prices fluctuate with global trends, the broad applications (not limited to specific mining segments) for FRD rock drills and FIMS crushers ensure stable performance for ADIKONS in the years ahead.

Harry Soga, Director of Furukawa Rock Drill, added that Furukawa Rock Drill is a part of the FURUKAWA Company Group, which will celebrate its 150th anniversary in 2025. The company's history began with a significant contribution to the modernization of copper mining, the original business of the Furukawa Company Group, by providing rock drills and patented rock-drilling products.
