JAKARTADAILY.ID – PT Salim Ivomas Pratama representative, Christian Suripto said his company is ready to support the government's program in providing palm cooking oil products at affordable prices to meet the needs of the community.
According to Christian, Salim Ivomas will by simplifying the distribution of cooking oil from factories, warehouses, distributors, to retailers in order to reduce costs.
"Our goal is to shorten the distribution channel as well as to stabilize supply. We are also paying attention to the need for traditional markets. We will also be utilizing e-commerce channels," said Christian in Jakarta, Tuesday.

Meanwhile, General Manager of PT Sinar Mas Agro Resources and Open Technology (SMART) Unit Marunda Agus Widjaja said the company is committed to continuing to support government programs in meeting the needs of cooking oil for the community.
"We will participate with products that have met the requirements of SNI (Indonesian National Standard), and we have also prepared matters related to the implementation of the government program, by the distribution of cooking oil brand MASKU as much as 5 million liters per month," he said.
PT SMART is optimistic that the production operations of the cooking oil factories, which are located in Bekasi and Surabaya, can meet the target of achieving the program at affordable prices.
"Until now, even in the midst of a pandemic, the productivity of our cooking oil factory is maintained, the supply of raw materials in the form of CPO is still smooth, and we also continue to carry out health protocols at the cooking oil factory according to the Circular Letter of the Minister of Industry regarding the Operational Permit for Mobility of Industrial Activities (IOMKI), "he said.
Until December 2021, PT SMART has participated in the price stabilization program by distributing 600 thousand liters of simple packaged cooking oil.
The Head of Business for the Wilmar Integrated Industrial Estate – Serang, Banten, Tenang Sembiring also stated the same thing. The Wilmar Group is committed to supporting the affordable cooking oil program through the provision of products according to the allocation targets set by the government.
"We will distribute 10 million liters per month to support the affordable cooking oil program throughout Indonesia. We will also cooperate with a number of distributors in the regions to ensure that our MGS products are available in the marketing area and the highest retail prices set by the government," he explained.

As of December 2021, the Wilmar Group has distributed more than 1.1 million liters of simple packaged cooking oil price stabilization programs or has exceeded the target set by the government of 1 million liters. (*)
