JAKARTADAILY.ID - The Asian Development Bank (ADB) will be hosting a webinar titled "Virtual Business Opportunities Seminar 2022 with Indonesia," which is targeting participants from consulting firms, consultants, contractors, suppliers, civil society organizations, and private companies.
In a statement made available through its website, ADB said participants of the webinar "will have the opportunity to meet virtually with ADB staff in the procurement, consulting, project management, and related operations as well as sector specialists."
The webinar is scheduled to take place from July 27-28, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. Manila time (09.00 a.m. Jakarta Time).
The event is intended to help improve the interest and ability of eligible suppliers to locate business opportunities, prepare high-quality and responsive bids, and understand procurement and anticorruption procedures from development projects funded by the multilateral development lender.
"In response to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, Procurement, Portfolio and Financial Management Department (PPFD) transitioned its Business Opportunities Outreach Initiatives from in-person to virtual format," ADB said on its website.
"PPFD will continue to offer and host virtual events in 2021, in cooperation with host organizations, to plan and deliver an engaging virtual event using any desired videoconferencing platform, flexible around the practical realities of maintaining virtual audience engagement," the Manila-based lender said.
During the webinar, participants can hear presentations on "how to qualify for ADB-financed contracts, discover what business opportunities are available."
