JAKARTADAILY.ID – The Governor of Bank Indonesia (BI) and the Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs officially opened the 2022 Indonesian Digital Financial Economy Festival (FEKDI) on Monday, July 11, 2022.
FEKDI 2022 raised the theme Advancing Digital Economy and Finance: Synergistic and Inclusive Ecosystem for Accelerated Recovery.
This event was held by Bank Indonesia and the Ministry of Economy with the support of Ministries and Industry, in order to accelerate the recovery of the national economy.

This synergy is strengthened by a shared commitment through the launch of the National Synergy Movement for the Digital Economy and Finance.
BI's Governor, Perry Warjiyo, said that inclusive synergy and innovation are needed to advance the nation so that it can compete globally. Let's show the world and the G20 that Indonesia has advanced digitally.
“Digitalization is a pillar of Advanced Indonesia. Today we are strengthening the synergy and collaboration of Indonesia's digitalization in FEKDI 2022 with the theme Advancing digital economy and finance: synergy and inclusion," he said in a joint press statement quoted from BI's official website, Monday, July 11, 2022.

Perry said that Bank Indonesia's support in realizing a national digital financial economy in order to accelerate economic recovery was further strengthened, particularly through the payment system digitization policy.
"Bank Indonesia is committed to supporting the synergy of the national digital economic and financial policy mix, in line with the government's commitment and the vision of the President of the Republic of Indonesia towards an Advanced Indonesia," said Perry.
Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto who was present on behalf of President Joko Widodo on the occasion said that the Covid-19 pandemic had also created bright prospects for Indonesia's digital economic and financial potential.

In 2021, the value of digital trade will reach Rp 401 trillion in line with increasing acceptance and preference for online shopping and supported by the expansion of digital payment systems and acceleration of digital banking.
In 2025, Indonesia's digital economy potential is estimated to reach around Rp 2,050 Trillion, then in 2030, it is projected to increase to Rp 4,531 Trillion.
