JAKARTADAILY.ID – The Indonesian Financial Services Authority (OJK) officially launched the Financial Literacy and Education Car Information Facility or SiMOLEK car.
There are a total of 54 SiMOLEK cars which were inaugurated by the OJK and will be used for the implementation of various educational and financial literacy programs throughout Indonesia.
The 54 SiMOLEK cars will be used by OJK together with the financial services industry, local governments, and other stakeholders in implementing financial education and literacy programs for the public in all corners of Indonesia.

"The presence of the SiMOLEK car is able to minimize geographical, demographic, and infrastructure barriers for the public in obtaining information and knowledge related to financial institution products and services," said Chairman of the OJK Board of Commissioners, Wimboh Santoso, in an official statement, Thursday, July 7, 2022.
The first SiMOLEK car was launched in 2013 with as many as 20 cars and in 2015 added as many as 21 units operating to provide education and financial literacy to the public in 39 OJK office areas throughout Indonesia.
Meanwhile, on the same occasion, the Indonesian Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs Airlangga Hartarto hoped that the addition of the SiMOLEK car could encourage the synergy of the OJK and the Financial Services Industry and could illustrate the active symbol of OJK providing education to the public.
"Hopefully this effort will support the revival of the active symbol of OJK providing education to the public. "Hopefully this effort will support the revival of the national economic recovery," he said.
