OJK Strengthens Cooperation with the Financial Authorities of Australia and Japan

Another important issue discussed in this discussion is related to climate change which can affect financial stability so financial institutions are encouraged to turn their business into sustainability as more and more consumers are aware of the impact of their investment.

"Anticipating this issue, OJK has launched the Roadmap for Sustainable Finance Phase II (2021-2025), which focuses on developing a comprehensive ecosystem. Furthermore, earlier this year, OJK together with relevant ministries launched Indonesia Green Taxonomy Edition 1.0," explained Wimboh.

OJK will continue to collaborate with the Government and the competent authorities in accelerating global economic recovery through the implementation of governance and prudential aspects to maintain the financial system stability and ensure consumer protection, mitigate risks and oversee industry compliance with existing regulations.
