JAKARTADAILY.ID – The Menara Danareksa Building, a collaborative project between PT PP (Persero) Tbk and PT Danareksa, has been successfully constructed and was inaugurated on Friday, May 26, 2023, by Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN), Erick Thohir.
Erick Thohir commended PT PP as a healthy state-owned construction company. He emphasized their expertise in constructing buildings, such as the impressive Danareksa Tower.
"That's why I have always emphasized the importance of expertise in every state-owned construction company. For example, I assigned PTPP to build a building like this. I am grateful that the results have been outstanding and of high quality," stated Erick.
Furthermore, Erick expressed his hope that PT PP can collaborate and consolidate with other state-owned construction companies that possess similar expertise. He emphasized that every assignment given to state-owned construction companies must undergo a thorough business process.
"For instance, in the construction of this building (Danareksa Tower), I have always emphasized the importance of feasibility," emphasized Erick.
Menara Danareksa is a joint venture in the field of building leasing between PTPP (as the investor, operator, and contractor) and PT Danareksa as the landowner, under a 30-year concession period.
The total investment for the project amounted to IDR 824 billion, with 95% profit sharing for PTPP and 5% for PT Danareksa.
Covering an area of 9,300 square meters, Menara Danareksa boasts a gross building area of 55,397 square meters. It has been operating in stages since October 2022, hosting various events, including an intimate concert featuring Judika last February.
As of year-to-date, the building's tenant occupancy rate has reached 82%. Out of the 22 floors, 17 are dedicated to office spaces, while the ground floor features a retail area. The parking facility can accommodate up to 400 vehicles.
Menara Danareksa is equipped with modern, spacious meeting rooms and comprehensive facilities. Notably, it houses the Aryanusa Ballroom with a capacity of up to 1,000 people.
Additionally, the building offers seven meeting rooms—Anantara, Port, Bridge, Energy & Urban Meeting Room—with capacities ranging from 15 to 150 people.
Several tenants already operating in Menara Danareksa include Danareksa (Holding Capital and Finance), Kominfo, the Directorate General of Taxes for Central Jakarta, Kyodo News, PT Ice Messenger Indonesia (Indochat), BUMN Industrial Estate, and Indonesian Futures Clearing House.
Moreover, the Menara Danareksa Building is also home to the Jakarta Campus of Padjadjaran University (UNPAD).
